Courtney graduated from Durham University with a BSc. in Environmental Geoscience. At Aether, Courtney is involved in a variety of projects, including supporting local authorities in their journey to net zero carbon through developing an evidence base, creating emission trajectory pathways, and supporting in the development of climate action plans. She has contributed to a range of projects including:
- Compiling greenhouse gas emission baselines, emission trajectory pathways, and climate action plans for Tamworth Borough Council, Renfrewshire Council, and Luton Council, respectively
- Project managing and implementing the compilation of greenhouse gas emissions inventories for six of the UK’s Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies as part of the National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory
- Supporting in the annual compilation of the UK Registry on Industrial Sites
- Managing Aether’s involvement in the Climate Mitigation European Topic Centre for the European Environment Agency
- Developing an online travel comparison tool for Fenland Council, enabling users to understand how they can make more informed travel choices
Outside of work Courtney enjoys travelling, reading and knitting.
