Katie King, Director

Katie leads Aether’s services supporting local authority net zero planning. Katie is an expert in the fields of carbon emission accounting and spatial emissions modelling, with over 20 years’ relevant experience. Katie is also Aether's Quality Manager.

She is a highly effective Project Director, focusing on client interaction and satisfaction as well as detailed quality assurance. She has recent experience working for a variety of urban and rural authorities supporting responses to climate emergency declarations.

Katie has strict attention to detail in data analysis and report writing, is inquisitive and is not afraid to ask questions to investigate issues within projects. She is also an excellent communicator and ensures that all parties can contribute to solving problems and delivering good results.

Key clients have been the European Environment Agency, UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Defra, Greater London Authority, Transport for London and a range of Local Authorities.

Katie has recently renovated a small farm in Dorset, learning new skills such as hedge laying, rearing pigs, retro-fitting energy efficiency into a 200 year old house and project managing builders.
