Katie leads Aether’s emission inventory and related services for the UK public sector. She is an expert in the fields of carbon emission accounting and spatial emissions modelling, with over 25 years’ relevant experience. She is a highly effective Project Director, focusing on client interaction and satisfaction as well as detailed quality assurance.
Katie provides technical leadership for Aether’s work on the UK greenhouse gas and air pollution emissions inventories and on projects for local authorities on climate change mitigation and resilience.
Katie is also Aether's Quality Manager. She has strict attention to detail in data analysis and report writing, is inquisitive and is not afraid to ask questions to investigate issues within projects. She is also an excellent communicator and ensures that all parties can contribute to solving problems and delivering good results.
Key clients are UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, Defra, Greater London Authority, Transport for London and a wide range of Local Authorities.
Katie lives on a small farm in West Dorset, where she has learnt new skills such as hedge laying, rearing pigs, growing vegetables, retro-fitting energy efficiency into a 200 year old house and project managing builders.
