I work mostly in air quality and industrial emissions reporting, but I am also in the land use, land use change and forestry (LULUCF) team.

Lotte Gleeson, Consultant

Lotte graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Physics. She then worked for a company specialising in producing air quality assessments, where she gained skills in using ADMS for dispersion modelling.

Using her understanding of air pollution, Lotte has contributed to a variety of projects. She is on the industry team, working with Defra to support the compilation of the UK Registry on Industrial Sites, and she helps the EEA Industry helpdesk, responding to enquiries. Lotte acts as the EEA Secretariat for the National Emission Ceilings Directive (NECD) review, working closely with the EEA and the technical expert review team to support the efficient running of the inventory review process. Alongside her work in air quality, Lotte is also a member of the LULUCF team, supporting countries with the compilation of their LULUCF greenhouse gas emissions/removals inventories and researching mitigation options in the LULUCF sector.

Outside of work, Lotte enjoys walking and gardening, as well as visiting art galleries.
