Rosie is a senior consultant specialising in emission inventories, air quality assessments and data analysis for a variety of projects. She has experience in compiling national emissions inventories and reviewing historic and projected emissions data. In addition, she has conducted numerous air quality (AQ) assessments, utilising her experience with GIS and ADMS dispersion modelling, as well as conducting air quality monitoring. She is currently leading a project which involves comparing the UK’s GHG inventory with verification data compiled by the Met Office, and aims to improve the accuracy of UK’s reported GHG emissions.
Rosie’s projects have also included capacity building with EU Member States to improve projected GHG emissions, assessing exposure to air pollution in London, compiling national AQ and GHG inventories and collaborating with the Joint Research Council to develop speciation profiles for non-methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOCs). Rosie is also developing QA/QC tools in order to support technical reviews of national emissions data.
Rosie received a BSc in Environmental Sciences at the University of Birmingham and has gained research experience through a marine biology post at the Cawthron Institute in New Zealand.
Outside of work Rosie enjoys travelling, climbing, cycling and learning even more useless facts
