Remote Capacity Building in Liberia

04 November 2020

Aether staff have been working closely with Conservation International and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Liberia to provide training to stakeholders from the EPA, University of Liberia and other relevant government ministries. The remote training, facilitated by Nexus International University, aims to identify and strengthen weaknesses within the current GHG inventory compilation processes, and to consolidate the national MRV system.

The training includes remote presentations and interactive mentoring sessions. It will culminate in the presentation of the resulting improvements in the GHG inventory compilation and MRV systems by the trainees in remote workshops.

This project is funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) through Conservation International. Find out more here.
